This Message is from Linda Cousineau, Broadwater Health Center
Nurse and Rotarian, who is going to India in
February to immunize children from Polio.
Dear Broadwater Community Members:
While the Townsend Rotary supports and accomplishes many projects and causes in our community, this year we have a unique opportunity to consider expanding our traditional focus to something beyond what we’re doing now. We will still be doing the projects we have typically done but we are open to new ideas.
Through this short survey, we are soliciting YOUR input on additional projects/initiatives that YOU would like to see in the community. Let your voice be heard by taking time to answer the few questions below.
Hugh van Swearingen is a very lucky guy.
The Townsend Rotary Club held their annual Holiday party to celebrate the 2015 holiday season. This year the Holiday party was also a fund raiser to help send Linda Cousineau to India to participate in the Rotary International Polio Immunization program.
On December 14 and 15 the Townsend Rotary Club and the Townsend Lion's Club jointly hosted a Senior Dinner and Christmas Light Tour. Both nights were a success with over 90 Seniors attending the dinner and the light tour. The dinner started at 5:00 at the Townsend Senior Center and was a spectacular dinner.
On Tuesday November 17, 2015 the Ryland Foote "Fun for Life" foundation, Townsend Rotary Club and Helena Sunrise Rotary Club sponsored a Trivia Night event at the American Legion Hall. Benefits from the Trivia Night event went to the Ryland Foote "Fun for Life" foundation.
Judy Schenk is a very active Townsend Rotarian who contributes to the community in many ways. Born in Minnesota, Judy's family moved to Hall, Montana (near Drummond) when she was in the first grade.
