The Slice of Summer celebration August 18th will end with a special End of Summer Cold Hard Cash Show Bash.  After the free youth activities, Slice of Summer sponsors have lined up two bands to entertain in a special End of Summer celebration.

In 2015, The Townsend Rotary Club sponsored it's first Foreign Exchange Student in the 77 year history of the club. Andee Akerman was chosen to be the Townsend student to go to Brazil. In return, the Townsend Rotary Club sponsored Brazilian student Ana Carina Ernesto Jose (known to us as Carina).
