Rotary’s eighth annual Slice of Summer celebration is Thursday June 21 at Heritage Fun Park. Free kids’ activities during the afternoon and evening include free swimming, face painting, the Elkhorn Community Fellowship Church climbing wall, and a bouncy house.
Inexpensive food starting mid-afternoon at 3pm will be provided for families through 8 pm by the Rotary Club of Townsend, the Broadwater Lions Club, and Broadwater 4H. Brook Dolan is sponsoring a 5K run for the event. Music will be provided by Fergie and Friends starting at 5pm.
