On June 12 nearly 70 people gathered at the old Masonic Hall to hear Walter Deege speak about his life in Germany during the Holocaust. While Walter and his family were not jewish his father was sent to a concentration camp where he died. Many non-jewish people were sent to the concentation camps for any activity that offended the Nazi party.
Probably the most suprising fact that Walter discussed was the number of people he meets that believe the Holocaust is a myth that never happened!
