Rotary’s Slice of Summer Ends with a Flourish!

Submitted by Pat Plantenberg on Mon, 08/20/2018 - 08:36

The 2018 Rotary Slice of Summer celebrations ended with a special flourish on August 16th. Free youth activities included swimming, face painting, four bouncy toys, and the Elkhorn Community Fellowship climbing wall. Rotary sold Full Beli Deli pizza and cotton candy. The Lions sold hamburgers, hot dogs, and nachos. The Close Up kids sold ice cream, root beer floats, beverages, popcorn, and candy to raise money for their trip to Washington, DC. Ten Years Gone from Helena entertained the crowd from 5:30 to 8:30 with their great music and vocals. Then finally, at 9 up to 100 children and parents were treated to a free movie in the Heritage Park by Jenkins Beverage!
