Rotary Inducts New Young Members

Submitted by Pat Plantenberg on Mon, 10/22/2018 - 10:11

(Townsend October 21) The Rotary Club of Townsend has survived since 1939 and has become the club to go to if something needs to be done in our community. Rotary is always looking for potential new members to continue the tradition. Many service organizations like Rotary are struggling to find new energetic members. Fortunately, several new young Rotary members have been recruited in Townsend.

On September 17, Montana Rotary District 5390 Governor Rick Moore from Helena inducted three new members into the Rotary Club of Townsend. Jennifer Lane, Kristine Nunn, and Jody Toney took the oath to serve as Rotarians and to provide ‘Service above Self”.

Former Rotarian, Jennifer Chamberlin also has rejoined Rotary. This core of young members will help ensure Rotary continues its vital role in our community.
