The Rotary Club of Townsend is sponsoring a bale decorating contest again this year to help publicize the Townsend Fall Fest September 29-October 1. The only requirements are that any signs with the creation must include the word “bale”, “hay” or “straw” and that the creation must be in Broadwater County. Rotary also wants to post a banner announcing Fall Fest alongside your creation. Three winners will be selected with prizes of $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place. Please try to have the creations completed by September 22. For more information and to register for the contest please call Patrick Plantenberg at 431-4615.
