In October 2019, the Townsend Interact Club elected new officers. At the October 22 meeting, advisor Jen Lane introduced the new Interact Club officers to the Club members.
The new officers are Daniel Wyse (President), Hayden Stubbendeck (Vice President), Jordan Jensen (Treasurer). The new Interact board members are Sam Lane, Will Lane and Ronnie Steele.

Nine Interact Club members from Townsend are going to Guatemala in June. Interact is a Rotary sponsored community based youth service organization with over 20 students from Broadwater High School. The students will travel to Guatemala for over a week to work on a service project with Maya Pedal, visit Rotary water projects in the area, and tour some Mayan ruins. To help pay for the trip, the Interact and Rotary Clubs are sponsoring a Trivia and All You Can Eat Taco Night at the Fairgrounds 4H Building on Saturday May 11.
(Townsend May 5) On May 5th, The Interact Club, a Rotary sponsored community youth service organization, inducted three new members: Zoey Wickens, Hanna Burdick, and Carson LeLacheur. The Interact Club is a community-based youth Rotary Club for students ages 12-18. Rotarian, Jennifer Lane is the Club Advisor.
(Townsend December 1) On Thursday November 29th, the Rotary Club of Helena Sunrise and the Rotary Club of Townsend sponsored their annual Trivia/Chili Feed fundraising event for a Townsend cause. This year the $1,342 raised will be used to help pay for the Rotary-sponsored youth Interact Club service trip to Guatemala. The kids will be spending some time in June helping a group called Maya Pedal modify bicycles into machines that can be used by local villagers without power to grind flour, pump water, etc.
(Townsend November 18) The Helena Sunrise Club and the Rotary Club of Townsend will be hosting their annual TRIVIA Fundraiser on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Legion. This year the fundraiser will be to help raise money for the Rotary Sponsored Youth Interact Club of Townsend’s trip to Guatemala in June 2019. The interact Club students will be headed to Guatemala for a service project. The trip will cost about $1,400 per student.
